Afternoon Programs

At ESP, we're about activating the abilities of all!

That means no matter who you are, you'll be offered the same 360 experience. You'll find our participants, volunteers, interns, and staff enjoying the same activities side by side with no boundaries.

What is ESP 360?

ESP 360 sparks connection through wrap-around programs and family support. With 360 Afternoon Programs, your child will get the chance to learn, develop, and refine skills that will help them build confidence, friendships, and independence.  There is something for everyone no matter their ability!

Spring 2022 Afternoon programs are at ESP from 3:30 to 5:30 PM. This year, we are offering 4 classes: Music Therapy, Get Fit, Get Crafty, and Miracle League ball practice.

MUSIC THERAPY

This class will have a music therapist from UGA leading us each day in song and music! Check out their program here

GET CRAFTY

Do you live arts and crafts all day every day? This class will focus on various forms of art, including painting, sculpting, theater, and more!

GET FIT

This class will focus on sports, movement, and exercise all through adaptive movements and universally accessible activities!

MIRACLE LEAGUE PRACTICE

This class will function as our Miracle League ball practice! You do NOT have to participate in practice to play in the tournaments on Saturdays!

LEARN ABOUT ALLOCATIONS: We're moving to an allocations method similar to Summer Camp for afternoon programs. Please choose your child's preferred classes and ESP will make your schedule and then update your account via CampBrain with the Classes allotted.

SWIMMING

We swim at the YWCO on Mondays and Wednesdays! This class is for participants that already know how to swim. It's a very deep pool, so some knowledge of swimming is required, but floats can be used if helpful.

BOWLING

We bowl at Showtime Bowl on Tuesdays and Thursdays in our off-site class! This is a pretty calm class and is for participants who enjoy bowling as a pastime. We typically bowl 2-3 games per class.

Corps Classes are for participants over the age of 20 and who graduated from high school that takes place from 2:30-3:30 on Mondays through Thursdays. Buddies are provided for up to 15 participants, so any participant of any ability can request these classes.

ESP Athens 360 offers...

  • wraparound  programming catered towards people of all abilities
  • year-round family support for people with disabilities and their families
  • weekly afternoon enrichment

1:1 volunteer to participant ratio

At ESP, we focus on the individual which is why we strive to pair your child with a volunteer “buddy” who will be with them every step of the way. Interested in becoming a 1:1 volunteer buddy at ESP this semester?
